Scary Only is a metadata aggregator. It does not host, upload, store, or distribute any video, audio, or media files. It indexes publicly available metadata from third-party sources to help users discover horror content.

This addon is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, availability, or non-infringement. The operator of this addon makes no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

2. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and contributors of this addon shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Use or inability to use this addon
Any content accessed, viewed, downloaded, or streamed through this addon or any third-party service it interfaces with

3. Third-party services

This addon integrates with several third-party services, each governed by their own terms and policies:

TMDB (themoviedb.org) — used for movie/series metadata. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
YTS (yts.mx) — used as a torrent index for movie streams.
Real-Debrid (real-debrid.com) — optional premium debrid service.
Stremio (stremio.com) — the platform this addon plugs into.

The operator of this addon has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party service.

4. User responsibility & legal compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this addon, and any content accessed through it, complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

Copyright laws vary by country. In some jurisdictions, streaming or downloading copyrighted material without authorization may be illegal. The operator does not encourage, endorse, or condone any unlawful use. If you are uncertain about the legality of any activity, consult a qualified legal professional in your country before proceeding.

5. Real-Debrid token security

If you provide a Real-Debrid API token, it is embedded in your personal install URL and transmitted to this server with each stream request. Do not share your install URL publicly. The operator does not store your token persistently but caches resolved stream URLs temporarily for performance.

6. Watchlist integration

If you provide a watchlist URL, this server fetches the JSON content of that URL on your behalf. You are responsible for the security and privacy of that endpoint.

7. No data retention

This addon does not persistently store user data on disk. In-memory caches exist solely to improve performance and are cleared on server restart.

8. Indemnification

By using this addon, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator, contributors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damage arising out of your use of the addon, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
