Scary Only is a metadata aggregator. It does not host, upload, store, or distribute any video, audio, or media files. It indexes publicly available metadata from third-party sources to help users discover horror content.

Privacy & No Accounts

Scary Only has no user accounts. You never sign up, log in, or create a profile. We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any other personal information. There is nothing to register and no identity attached to your use.

The addon displays horror movie and series catalogs sourced from public databases (primarily TMDB). To keep the service running well and decide which catalogs to improve, we record anonymous, aggregate usage statistics only — such as which catalogs are popular and a rough breakdown of countries and languages. This information can never identify you as an individual.

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. A single optional cookie remembers your chosen interface language — nothing more.

Your actual viewing happens inside Stremio. Scary Only only provides the catalog listings (titles, posters, descriptions) — it does not host or serve the video streams themselves.

1. No warranty

This addon is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, availability, or non-infringement. The operator of this addon makes no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

TMDB (themoviedb.org) — used for movie/series metadata. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Stremio (stremio.com) — the platform this addon plugs into.

The operator of this addon has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this addon, and any content accessed through it, complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

It records only anonymous, aggregate usage statistics — such as which catalogs are popular and rough country/language distribution — which can never identify an individual. In-memory caches exist solely to improve performance.
